Brice enjoyed being out in the sun....and was amused watching Dad chip away.

Last weekend [August 28,2011] we enjoyed a great outdoor brunch with a few friends. We lucked out with great weather....

August: We tried to get out and take in some of Chicago's summer offerings before they all wrapped up. We tried a Wednesday night concert at Millennium Park and Jazzin @ the Shedd (best views of Chicago skyline from the Museum Campus)...Brice was a trooper with Mom and Dad keeping him up too late on weeknights.

It was good to see all the family down at the beach this year.

The next day we continued south and made it to the beach. Brice had his first dip in the ocean...not too thrilled about the water just yet.

Summer road trip...we made it to Nashville after an all night drive (Florida bound-July 2011).

We had a lot of time in the back yard this year....napping and otherwise. Lee built a small chipping green to pass the time.

Brice had his first ride on the El. We are on our way to the Blues Festival [June 11, 2011].

Summer kicked off with Brice turning 6 months old in June. He also discovered grass that day!

We also had visitors over Memorial Day weekend: Nana, Aunt Deb and Uncle Mike.

Lazy days of summer almost gone....
